Tsigkas Alexandros is a Dietician-Nutritionist and he graduated from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics in Harokopio University of Athens. He will holds an MSc in Clinical Nutrition. During his studies, he completed practical internships at the departments of Clinical Nutrition of General Hospital of Athens “Laiko” and General Hospital of Nikaia, where he worked on the nutritional assessment of in- and outpatients, as well nutritional care process and nutritional intervention. Also, he completed practical internship at the office of dietician-nutritionist Dr. Anastasios Papalazarou. After his studies, he worked voluntarily in the department of Clinical Nutrition of “Laiko” Hospital.

He firmly believes in continuous education and for this reason he takes part in conferences and workshops about nutritional treatment of chronic diseases. At the same time, he is attending Life Long Learning (LLL) courses, organized by the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism and until now, he has received the certifications about the oral, enteral nutrition, nutritional intervention in patients with diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia and cancer.
